Installation of clutch master cylinder

1. Introduction

2. Installation Steps

Step 1: Preparation

a,Ensure the vehicle is safely parked and the engine is cool.

b,Disconnect the battery for safety.

c, Identify the location of the clutch master cylinder.

Step 2: Remove the Old Cylinder

a,Drain the hydraulic fluid from the system.

b, Disconnect the hydraulic line from the old master cylinder.

c, Unbolt the master cylinder from the firewall.

d, Detach the push rod from the clutch pedal.

Step 3: Install the New Clutch Master Cylinder

a,Position the new cylinder and bolt it to the firewall.

b, Connect the push rod to the clutch pedal (adjust pedal height if needed).

c, Reconnect the hydraulic line.

d, Ensure all connections are tight and secure.

Step 4: Fill and Bleed the System

a,Fill the reservoir with the recommended brake fluid (DOT 3, DOT 4).

b, Bleed the hydraulic system to remove any air bubbles.

c, Ensure consistent pedal pressure and correct engagement.
